Hello,

The arrival of Windows 10 and its new Settings menu brings us the ability to use ms-settings shortcuts that allow us to directly access specific locations in Settings.

ms-settings shortcuts use the principle of URIs(Uniform Resource Identifier), a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) is a specific URI.
Example URL: https://www.altf4-formation.fr

Examples of how Ms-Settings can be used

In a shortcut:
explorer.exe ms-settings:network

Directly in Explorer’s address bar, type:
ms-settings:display

In Execute (Windows + R):
ms-settings:themes

In a terminal (cmd or PowerShell):
explorer.exe ms-settings:gaming-gamebar

In Word (handy for technical documentation), PowerPoint, web page…:
Indicate in link address:
ms-settings:windowsupdate

Example:
Windows update

Find the full list of ms-settings on Microsoft’s official page.
The list grows as items are added and reworked in Settings.

The list in French, but beware some URIs have unfortunately been automatically translated or have extra spaces.
